![]() He set his picture to the producers of Tarzan, the Ape Man (1981) and got the part, launching his career seemingly overnight. That exposure to the movie business sparked his interest so in 1980 he moved to Los Angeles and started mailing headshots. ![]() After graduation, he spent a year working as a counselor for the Tennessee State Prison, but he ended up leaving that and doing some traveling before being asked to be an extra in a TV movie. After high school, he went to Mississippi State to play football, but an injury ended his career so he transferred schools and ended up getting his degree in psychology. Miles O’Keeffe took a unique path to being a professional actor.
